THE Story
Two great loves:
the journey, and the plan.
I'm Sairey — part wanderer, part planner, wholly obsessed with both. I love the messy magic of a trip and the quiet joy of a well-organized one. I am obsessed with beautiful planners, thoughtful systems and a bag packed just right. By being prepared ahead of time, this helps me live in the moment, to be fully present when I arrive, and not focused on too much baggage or missing an experience.
Where It Began
The trip that changed me.
I didn't grow up with a passport full of stamps, although growing up in Minnesota, we did love a good road trips and cabins up north.
But my senior year of high school, my view of the world changed when I went on a mission trip to Guatemala. It cracked the world, and something in me, wide open. I saw how travel, met with an open heart, can be a real force for good, how it builds empathy, softens the line between "us" and "them", and changes the traveler. I came home different, in love with the idea of traveling, and haven't stopped since.
Nearly Twenty Years In
I've built my whole life around travel.
Travel is my world. And for almost twenty years, I built UrbanUndercover, a brand I'm still so proud of, making some of the most beautiful clothing for the road. My passion for travel coupled with how I feel having a light heart, a light bag and a wardrobe that you feel amazing in, affects how you show up in the world for yourself and others.
Walking away from UrbanUndercover was a hard but clear choice. I didn't leave because I loved it less; I left to get closer to travel itself — the planning, the anticipation, the quiet transformation. Trouvaille is where all of it finally comes together.
And for eleven years (and still going) I have been a gate agent for an airline at a major international airport. I love it. I love the people, the industry and the idea of spreading the love for travel.
My world is travel. It runs in my veins. And I hope to share and spread that love in an effort to make the world a little better place.

I won't pretend there's no cost — the planes, the footprint, the impact. I carry that honestly. But I believe, all the way down, that a world full of people who've looked one another in the eye across cultures is a kinder, more empathetic one. When we travel consciously, the good it does outweighs the rest — so we keep choosing it, and keep asking how to do it better.
