It's a fully digital group trip planner built as an interactive Google Sheet — everything in the Traveler Edit (itinerary, budget, packing, live currency) plus a group layer: a roster of up to twelve, a shared-cost ledger, Group Gear, and a Settle Up tab that tells you exactly who owes whom. Every tab is linked, so a booking updates your calendar, itinerary, budget, and the ledger all at once.

Yes — it works in the Google Sheets app. It's most comfortable to set up on a laptop and then reference on the go.

You'll need internet to open your copy the first time and to save changes as you go. After that, switch on offline access in the Google Sheets app (or Google Drive settings) and you can view and edit it on the plane or anywhere with no signal — it syncs back up once you're online. (Live currency conversion needs a connection to pull rates, but everything else works offline.)

It's built specifically for Google Sheets. Live currency conversion and a few other features rely on Google-only formulas, so we can't guarantee full functionality in Excel.

Yes — but fill in your trip first, because that's where the value is. As you type your details, the planner builds itself: the itinerary, calendar, and budget come to life. Once it's filled in, print any tab (File → Print) or save it as a PDF (File → Download → PDF) for a paper travel binder. Printed blank it's just empty templates — so enter your trip, then print the finished pages.

Tip for a clean copy: in File → Print, set Scale to “Fit to width” and choose “Current sheet” so nothing gets cut off — landscape suits the wider tabs.

Set your home currency once on the Details tab, then log costs in whatever currency you're billed in. Everything converts automatically using live Google Finance rates.
